September Retirees Brunch with Doug Ackerman, Boeing VP

Join us to hear Boeing VP of Quality Doug Ackerman share the Safety and Quality Plan that Boeing has put in place after Alaska Airlines 1282 in 2024.   Hear the history on how the plan came together, the major changes implemented so far and what they’re still working on. Doug was previously the Director of Engineering for Boeing’s Supply Chain, and later VP of Supplier Quality. He spent his early days at Boeing working on Interior Engineering on multiple models and in Product Development. Ackerman holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington and has completed the Stanford Executive Program.
