Join us in May for our regular AIAA Retiree hybrid meeting either online or in person at the Museum of Flight. At that meeting, Alnis Smidchens from the UW will talk about how an undergrad team building a Husky Sat-2, an open-source CubeSat satellite, will go into Low Earth Orbit in 2025. Alnis is a third-year student in Applied Physics with a focus on electricity and magnetism. Besides being president of the Husky Satellite Lab, he is also on the UW underwater robotics team.
