The next PNW AIAA Section technical dinner will be Tuesday, January 29th at the University of Washington, in a joint meeting with the UW AIAA Student Section. (NOTE: change from previously announced date)
Mike Carriker, Chief Pilot, Product Development, will present highlights of the 787-8 flight test program, including flight test videos of significant tests. For ten years, from 2001 through 2011, Mike was the chief pilot of the 787 program, flying the first flight as well as the last FAA certification flight. Mike was the pilot in many of the videos he’ll be showing and will provide the first person view from the left seat.
