Michael DeRosa is a co-founder of Gravitics, Inc., a space manufacturing company developing essential space infrastructure for the United States Space Force and Commercial Space Stations. He brings a unique blend of technical expertise and visionary thinking to the company, spearheading marketing and communications efforts that have been instrumental to Gravitics’ success in fundraising, winning major contract awards, and hiring top talent. Michael played a key role in establishing core operational functions including hiring, HR, finance, and procurement. Michael also leads the company’s IT department, providing and managing state-of-the-art hardware and software tools, and maintaining a rigorous cybersecurity program compliant with government requirements for defense contract work. His background in entertainment technology provided him with a powerful ability to visualize and communicate complex space industry concepts, which he previously demonstrated by founding smallstars, a media brand focused on humanity’s expansion into the solar system.
