New Frontiers in Air & Space: PNW AIAA Technical Symposium April 20, 2024

The 16th Pacific Northwest AIAA Technical Symposium took place Saturday April 20, 2024 at the Lynnwood Event Center, 3711 196th Street SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036.

The program featured three keynotes, twelve topical technical sessions–divided equally between air and space topics–and an exhibitor expo. Included in the registration cost were a continental breakfast preceding the opening keynote and a lunch buffet for the mid-day keynote.

View of Symposium Session

We took a look into the distant past through deep infrared eyes and ahead to permanent off-world colonies. We met with the next generation of innovators, and today’s industry leaders, in student poster and symposium sponsor exhibits in the expo between sessions. We networked with colleagues and friends, old and new, over breakfast, lunch and after the final presentation.

It was a kaleidoscopic view into the near-term future of aerospace as it’s being shaped, both in the air and outside of it.
