Following up on January’s outstanding presentation by Mike Carriker on the Boeing 787 flight test program, the next AIAA Pacific Northwest Section dinner meeting on February 27th is another view from the inside, this time it’s the NASA/Lockheed Martin Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle. Orion is the first beyond-low-earth-orbit manned spacecraft since Apollo 40 years ago.
Joining us are Larry Price, Orion Deputy Program Manager at Lockheed Martin Space Systems and Stu McClung, NASA Orion Crew Module Landing and Recovery System Functional Area Manager to give you an update on the progress and prognosis of manned missions beyond earth orbit.
