June Retiree Meeting and Speaker

Join us at a special off-schedule session of our AIAA Retiree’s meeting, normally held at Seattle’s Museum of Flight but temporarily held via Zoom online until Museum of Flight meetings can again be held in person.

Two and possibly three meetings will be held this summer on the third Saturday of June, July, and possibly August to capture the history of commercial aviation as shared recently with a COMAC-sponsored Chinese documentary on the evolution of commercial jet aviation. The first in this series of speakers will be Peter Morton, who will talk about Boeing history focusing on the time period of the DASH 80 through the certification of the 777 early ETOPS.

Registration is required. Connecting from a computer that has the Zoom software installed would be useful so you can see and hear the presentation. If your computer has a camera (so we can see you), and a microphone (so we can hear you) that would be best. Connecting sound via phone is also an option if that works better for you than using a computer microphone and speakers.
