Join us Saturday morning November 18th for our AIAA retiree-hosted hybrid Zoom online ~or~ in person brunch meeting at the Museum of Flight.
At that meeting, Boeing retired VP Pam Valdez will share two fascinating history of technology stories with us about (1) the invention of frequency-hopping by actress Hedy Lamarr, leading to her being dubbed the “Mother of Wi-Fi” and (2) how Boeing did the original design of the B-52 in one weekend in a hotel room. Join us with RAeS Fellow, pilot, AP mechanic, and avionics technician Pam Valdez for an educational and memorable session!
Registration is required whether attending via Zoom or in person. Click on this link to register
If planning to attend in person for brunch at the Museum of Flight South View Lounge, registering by Friday November 10th avoids a higher brunch cost. Online attendance is free, but also requires registration for us to email you the Zoom login link.
Brunch is $35 early registration until November 10th. We’ll email you an invoice in advance to pay by credit card or PayPal). $40 after November 10th, payable in cash (only) at the door. Students $20 either way.
We are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday November 18th, 2023. If you need help registering, please contact me at KarlR@SeaAIAAretirees.com
